DC: 0 – 5 Clinical Training

The DC:0-5™ training provides professionals with a comprehensive understanding of the Diagnostic Classification of Mental Health and Developmental Disorders of Infancy and Early Childhood. Participants will learn how to use the DC:0-5 framework to accurately identify and describe mental health and developmental disorders in children from birth through age five. The training emphasizes developmentally appropriate, relationship-based, and culturally sensitive approaches to diagnosis. Through case examples and interactive learning, participants will strengthen their ability to recognize early signs of distress, apply differential diagnosis, and support families and caregivers in accessing appropriate interventions.
Dates:
Monday, March 9th, 2026: 9:00 am – 1:00 pm (4 hours)
Tuesday, March 10th, 2026: 9:00 am – 1:00 pm (4 hours)
Wendesday, March 11th, 2026: 12:00 pm – 4:00 pm (4 hours)
Intended Audience:
- Clinicians and advanced practitioners in fields of mental health, health, and early intervention who are responsible for diagnosing early childhood mental health and developmental disorders
- Medical professionals such as psychiatrists, pediatricians, nurse practitioners, who may assess, screen, or refer young children for mental health concerns
Preparing for the Training:
- We will email you handouts utilized during the training
- Each participant should purchase the DC: 0 – 5 manual (from Zero to Three’s website or another book supplier)
Training Information: The training is a total of 12 hours of live, virtual presentation and activities. Participants must attend all 12 hours.
